EYELASH EXTENSIONS
LED lash extensions have become a sought-after beauty trend, prized for their longevity and natural appearance. To preserve their beauty and extend their lifespan, it’s essential to follow a proper care regimen. This comprehensive guide outlines effective strategies for maintaining your LED lash extensions
- Please arrive eye make-up free and with clean lashes.
- If you wear contacts, please bring your contact case and solution or wear glasses.
- If you’ve had a lash lift done previously make sure it’s worn off and lashes are naturally curled.
- Avoid caffeinated drinks up to 4 hours prior to your appointment.
- Avoid hot showers (steam) and saunas.
- No mascara on the lash extensions.
- Do not curl, perm or tint your extensions.
- Cleanse your lashes with Lash Shampoo 2-3 times a week to clean away dirt and oil build up. Pat them dry with tissue before brushing.
- Avoid rubbing or pulling your extensions.
- Don’t Pull or Twist: If you notice loose extensions, avoid the urge to pull or twist them. Instead, consult a professional for proper removal and replacement.
- Only use oil free products around your eyes.
- 3-4 week infills are recommended. If your eyelash extensions are worn for more than 5 weeks, book a removal and full set appointment. By this time, the extensions will be significantly overgrown and need to be removed. Wearing eyelash extensions for longer than 5 weeks is not recommended, as the overgrown lashes become too heavy for your natural lashes, potentially causing damage.
- Sleep on your back or invest in a silk pillowcase or eye mask
